What works, what does not yet

Version 1.0 Target WCAG 2.2 AA Audited Not yet

What we are aiming for

WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Not because a regulation forces it, but because of who uses this site: people navigating an administrative system in a language they do not read fluently, often on a phone, often under a deadline, often already anxious. Anything that makes the page harder to use lands on someone who has no capacity to spare.

If the site is in your way, the service is not

This is the part that matters most, so it goes first. You will never be blocked from buying a translation by a problem with our website. If any part of it is unusable for you — for any reason, and you do not have to explain which — write to hello@polyfetti.com and we will take your order by email instead, at exactly the same price.

Since April 2024 the 障害者差別解消法 has required businesses to provide 合理的配慮 — reasonable accommodation — to customers, not merely to make an effort. The paragraph above is ours, stated in advance rather than offered after someone has struggled. If the accommodation you need is something else, ask; the answer will not be a form.

What is in place today

What is not done yet

Being specific about this is more useful to you than a compliance badge:

If something is in your way

Email hello@polyfetti.com and describe what happened — which page, what you were trying to do, and what device or assistive technology you use. We reply within 1 business day.

You will never be blocked from the service by a problem on our site. If any part of the request flow does not work for you, tell us and we will take your order by email and do the same job at the same price. That is not a workaround we are embarrassed by — it is the commitment. A person who cannot use the form is still a customer.
