Japanese law requires anyone selling to consumers at a distance — including through a website — to publish a specific set of facts about the seller before a purchase is made. This page is that disclosure. Polyfetti works mainly in English and both versions are published in full; where a customer relies on one of them, that is the one that counts.

Note for the operator. Withholding the address and telephone number is permitted only for those two items, and only while a channel exists that answers a request before purchase. Name and prices cannot be withheld. If the request channel stops being answered promptly, the omission itself becomes a disclosure violation.

| Price販売価格 | Shown on the quote for each order, before you pay. What the quote is built from:
Document translation. For a document we hold a standard form for: ¥1,500 for the first page and ¥1,000 for each page after it. For a document with no standard form: ¥2,500 per page. Prices are per document, not per order — five documents sent together are five first pages. A certificate of translation accuracy is ¥500 when requested. While our opening offer runs, the first two pages of a document we hold a form for are ¥1,500, and pages beyond that are charged at the ordinary ¥1,000. Business and marketing translation. Two service levels. Standard — Japanese source text at ¥4 per character, or source text in English or any other language at ¥6 per word. Advanced, which adds a check of the translation against the source by a second person, your own terminology, and a second round of revisions — ¥7 per character, or ¥10 per word. Characters are counted excluding spaces and line breaks. At either level the minimum for an order is ¥800. Text that repeats inside your document, or that we have already translated for you, is charged at a reduced rate — 20%, 30%, 50% or 90% of the full rate, according to how closely it matches. From 5,000 chargeable characters the total is reduced by a further 5%; from 20,000 by 10%; from 50,000 by 15%; a word count is converted at 2.4 characters to the word for this purpose only, so that the same quantity of work earns the same reduction whichever language it starts in. The count and every reduction are itemised on the quote, so you can check the arithmetic before you pay. Copywriting and original writing. Quoted individually before any work begins, from what you have asked for, how many pieces it is, and how many rounds of revision are included. Nothing is charged and no work starts until you have accepted that quote. |

Cancellation, returns and correctionキャンセル・返品・訂正について
Translation is prepared to your order, so there is no cooling-off period once work has begun. What we do offer instead:
- Before work starts — cancel for a full refund at any point before the translation is begun.
- Free correction — if we have made an error in the translation, tell us within 14 days of delivery and we correct it and re-deliver at no charge.
- Refund for our error — where a correction cannot put it right, we refund in full.
- No refund for rejection — we cannot refund because a receiving authority declined your submission. Acceptance is that authority's decision and depends on factors outside the translation. We do correct any translation error free of charge, and we tell you what an authority publishes as its requirements before you order.

What we do not do当サービスの業務範囲
Being clear about the boundary protects you as much as us:
- We translate documents. We do not prepare, complete or submit applications on your behalf.
- We do not give immigration, legal, tax or labour advice, and we do not represent you before any authority.
- We do not notarise documents or issue apostilles. Those are performed by a notary and by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs respectively.
- We are not a government body, and no translation we produce is an official or government-approved document. A certified translation is a statement of accuracy signed by a named translator.
- Where your matter needs a licensed professional, we say so and can point you to one.

A current version of Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. Uploads accept JPG and PNG photographs or scans, up to 12 MB and 20 pages. Delivered files are PDF. PDF upload is not accepted yet; if that is all you have, write to us and we will take it by email.
