Join several PDFs into one
In the order you choose them. Up to 10 files, 200 pages in total.
Split one PDF into pieces
Say which pages you want, like 1-3, 7.
Turn sideways pages the right way up
Leave the pages box empty to turn all of them. Turning adds to whatever the scanner already did, so pressing it twice is 180 degrees.
Make a PDF from photographs
Several pictures of a multi-page document, in order, as one file you can send. Each page is sized to its picture rather than squashed onto A4.
Both sides of a card on one page
A licence, an insurance card, a student card. Photograph each side, and they come out one above the other on a single A4 page at roughly life size — which is the shape almost every office asks for.
A card is the most identifying thing in most people’s wallets. This is the reason all of these tools run in your browser: the pictures are never uploaded, so there is nothing of yours for us to keep, lose or be asked for.
Why there is no “shrink a PDF” button
Because we would not be doing anything useful. Nearly all the size in a scanned PDF is the photographs inside it, and making those smaller means re-encoding them — which is worth doing before they become a PDF.
